A Brief History of D&R
| 1997 | Originally founded as SARL, a privately-held
company. |
| 1998 | Incorporated into an SA (Societé
anonyme) following the entry of CMP Media Inc. (now UBM) as
an investor with a 19% share. |
| 2001 | D&R is awarded with the "Trophee de la
Nouvelle Economie" award by Cegetel, a French
telecommunications company, and l'Express , a French weekly
news magazine. D&R puts its first release of its enterprise platform dedicated to IP management, IP Manager Series ™ (IPMS), on the market for the first time. |
| 2002 | D&R releases the first edition of
eDesign Manager ™, providing an IP Packaging Station and IP
Catalog to support IP packaging and IP archiving operations
under revision control. |
| 2003 | The D&R IP Manager Series (IPMS)and
eDesign Manager tools are combined to become the the D&R
IP Management System. D&R’s IP Catalog Station is put into operation at Alcatel-Lucent worldwide. |
| 2004 | Further enhancement of the D&R IP
platform leads to a generic Enterprise level IP management
platform. |
| 2005 | D&R’s IP Reuse Station is installed at
Cisco Systems for use by Cisco designers worldwide. |
| 2007 | The D&R IP Management Platform is
installed at Ericsson. |
| 2008 | The D&R generic IP Management System
platform is installed at Alcatel-Lucent to help manage their
extensive library of thermal devices worldwide. |
| 2009 | A Licensing Management extension for
Externally Sourced thermal devices is deployed at
Alcatel-Lucent. |
| 2010 | Externally Sourced IP Licensing and order
follow-up support is deployed at Ericsson. |
| 2011 | Dolphin Integration adopts the D&R IP
Management System Platform to organize its corporate product
directories and Customer delivery.
D&R opens a second web portal, www.dr-embedded.com, focused on providing a global view of the IP & Embedded software offerings available from D&R’s partners. |
| 2012 | Tabula, a fabless IC vendor, selects D&R
as the provider of the IP based design environment for its
programmable platform. |
| 2013 | Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. selects D&R IP management system as a front end design and IP Management systems. |
