Application of Option in Semiconductor IP Business Strategy
Option is a financial instruments which gives right to buy or sell of an asset at a pre-determined price at the end of a specified time period (European option) or anytime within a specified time period (American option). To get this right a trader needs to pay a certain amount which is called option price. We can use this option pricing model to decide on different business strategies in IP business.- How to verify control loop design

A Basic Analysis of Interwire Capacitance in Ultra Micron Technologies
As the technology node decreases, meeting inter-wire or coupling capacitance becomes extremely critical and challenging in SOC design. Shrinking technology node leads to increase in dielectric values, thus leading to higher capacitance and hence an increase in inaccuracies and power. In this paper, we propose effective ways to reduce interconnect capacitance in ultra micron technologies.- Meticom: Bridging FPGAs & MIPI-Enabled Devices

A Standards Based Approach to the Reliability Specification of IP Components
In this paper, we show how a standard modelling format called RIIF (Reliability Information Interchange Format) can be used to specify the failure modes of complex IP components including a worked example based on a processor core.Articles for the Week of October 7, 2013
Why using Single Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) can help improve I/O performance and Reduce Costs
In this paper, we will explore why designing systems that have been natively built on SR-IOV-enabled hardware may be the most cost-effective way to improve I/O performance and how to easily implement SR-IOV in PCIe devices.- Apply memory BIST to external DRAMs
