When choosing a secure product—whether it's an integrated secure element (iSE), embedded secure element (eSE), or a standalone Secure Element (SE)—certification is often seen as a must-have. But how and when you approach certification can significantly impact your product's timeline, cost, and long-term flexibility. In this whitepaper, we break down: ✅ Certification options for iSE, eSE, and SE ✅ Key factors that influence certification readiness ✅ The trade-offs between integrated and discrete secure solutions Whether you're a developer, product manager, or security evaluator, this guide helps you make informed decisions early in the development cycle. A team of researchers at North Carolina State University (NCSU), consisting of Ashley Kurian Anuj D., Ferhat Yaman and Aydin Aysu, published a white paper demonstrating a new technique for extracting AI models from hardware accelerators using electro-magnetic side-channel analysis (SCA). This article explores their findings and highlights how Keysight’s Side-Channel Analysis tools aided in validating and executing their attack. As quantum computing advances, the security of traditional cryptographic algorithms like #RSA and #ECC is increasingly at risk. While quantum computers capable of breaking these algorithms are not yet a reality, the potential for future quantum attacks has led to the development of quantum-resistant cryptography, also known as post-quantum cryptography (PQC). Governments and leading tech companies are already beginning to integrate #PQC into their systems. By identifying vulnerabilities early in the design cycle, device and chip vendors can future-proof their security against both quantum and more traditional threats. Learn more about how we can help here: https://lnkd.in/gMedSD3p #PQC #security
