Imagine recharging most, if not all, your battery powered products and many wall powered products with just a single USB cable. With the release of the new USB Power Delivery (PD) specification, future PD capable USB products could just do this. In the past, USB 2.0 provided up to 2.5W. SuperSpeed USB 3.0 provided up to 4.5W.
