In my first blog in this mini-series, I presented a list of 10 questions one should ask when in the process of selecting third-party intellectual property (IP) cores for use in one's FPGA and ASIC/ASSP/SoC development projects.
Now we're in the process of walking through these 10 questions one-by-one, considering them in more detail. In my previous column we considered Question #1: "What are the deliverables with the IP Core and will I receive appropriate documentation?" I hope that for all of us this was a good first step.
