There’s no denying that USB Type-C is the fastest adopted specification in the history of USB. Just by looking at the number of companies implementing the specification that was released only 10 months ago, one can see that this is truly the next big thing.
Despite such a short period after specification approval, there are already some devices and adapters available in the market, and the following months, or even weeks will bring yet more—new applications are being revealed all the time.
With so many devices, the new applications need to be compatible, so the question is what to do to make sure the new connector will not experience issues? The answer the USB-IF gave is, let’s meet at the interoperability workshop and find out!
