Biography

Amir Bar-Niv is a senior group director at Cadence Design Systems, where he manages the Design IP marketing team. In this role, Amir is responsible for the development of business and product strategies and outbound marketing programs. He has over 20 years of engineering experience and entrepreneurship in the communication and consumer electronic semiconductors industries. His background includes 12 years in executive management roles in R&D, marketing, and sales at TranSwitch Corporation and as a co-founder at Mysticom. Amir received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering, communications, and optics from Tel Aviv University and a masters in business administration from the University of Phoenix. Author of 14 patents (7 granted).
