PLDApplications Reports Record 2004 Results
87% increase in revenue; Leader in the PCI IP Core market; Key PCI Express

San Jose, California May 12, 2005 — PLDApplications (PLDA) today announced 87% revenue growth in 2004 and record first quarter orders and revenue in 2005.
Recently designated the world's largest PCI IP Core vendor (Gartner Dataquest, April 22, 2005—Market Share: Semiconductor Intellectual Property, Worldwide, 2004, by Christian Heidarson and Jim Tully), PLDA designs and sells a wide range of ASIC and FPGA interfacing solutions for the PCI and derivative markets (PCI Express, PCI-X, CompactPCI, and PC104/PC104+). "We attribute our continuing growth to two factors," explained Jean-Yves Brena, President of PLDA, "a strong commitment to a loyal and growing client base and a long-term strategy designed to meet our clients' present and future needs."
"The PCI protocol clearly maintains significant market volume," explained Jim Tully, VP and Distinguished Analyst at Gartner Dataquest, "however, it's clear that the industry is shifting to PCI Express."
Nine years ago, PLDA was the first company to offer a PCI Master / Target IP Core and today has sold over 500 licenses. PLDA is again in the vanguard with PCI Express, delivering a suite of solutions designed to simplify and accelerate adoption.
