LSI Logic Raises Q2 2005 Revenue Range
MILPITAS, Calif., June 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LSI Logic Corporation (NYSE: LSI) today increased its second quarter 2005 revenue guidance to a range of $465 million to $475 million. LSI Logic previously forecasted second quarter revenue in the range of $450 million to $465 million.
"Strength in Storage Components is the primary driver for the greater-than-anticipated growth of our second quarter revenues," said Abhi Talwalkar, LSI Logic president and chief executive officer. "We are also seeing better-than-expected growth in our DVD recorder and overall ASIC products."
LSI Logic will not hold a conference call today about this news release. The company will report its second quarter financial results, provide its third quarter 2005 business outlook and hold its quarterly conference call on Wednesday, July 27, 2005.
