Mentor Graphics Appoints New VP of Worldwide Consulting
WILSONVILLE, Ore., June 22, 2005 - Mentor Graphics Corporation (Nasdaq: MENT) today announced that Paul Hofstadler, former CEO and founder of 360Bridge Corporation, has been appointed to the position of vice president of worldwide consulting for the company. Hofstadler brings over 20 years of electronic design automation (EDA) services, sales and marketing expertise to the role, including extensive domestic and international service organization and sales channel development experience.
In the past, Hofstadler served as vice president to several other EDA companies including Silicon Metrics Corporation and Xynetix Design Systems. Prior to this, he was employed by Mentor Graphics from 1988 to 1995 as consulting manager, and later, as director of European professional services. Hofstadler began his career at Sandia National Laboratories in 1984, shortly before receiving his master's of science in electrical engineering (MSEE) degree from the University of Arizona. He also holds a bachelor's of science in electrical engineering (BSEE) degree from the University of New Mexico.
