eASIC Wins AlwaysOn AO 100 Top Private Company Award for its Innovative Structured ASIC Technology
San Jose, California, July 1, 2005 – eASIC® Corporation, a provider of breakthrough configurable logic technology and Structured ASIC products, today announced that the company won the AlwaysOn AO 100 Top Private Company Award for 2005. The AlwaysOn editorial panel selected the hundred most innovative and successful private firms from more than 1,000 companies nominated by venture investors, investment bankers, leading entrepreneurs and industry insiders. Like the other winners, eASIC was selected for its demonstrated excellence across five criteria: innovation, market potential, customer adoption, media buzz and investor value creation. The list of AO 100 winners consists solely of private companies at all phases of development from start-up to late-stage.
"The AO 100 Top Private Companies represent the tech sector's most innovative, disruptive and exciting firms," said AlwaysOn editor, Tony Perkins. "eASIC has obviously been working very hard toward solid success and certainly deserves to be on the list. All the winning companies share strong performance track records, robust business models, leading technology, rapid customer adoption, and most importantly, significant market potential. These are the companies to watch. We look forward to covering eASIC’s progress."
“We are very pleased to receive this recognition from business experts and industry leaders who share the vote with the engineering community” said Zvi Or-Bach, eASIC founder and CEO. “The success criteria that led the OA editorial panel selection, and especially innovation, are included in the core values of eASIC. This gratifying award marks our efforts to offer our customers an optimal Programmable ASIC solution, delivering significantly reduced cost and accelerated turnaround time compared to the competition. As demonstrated recently, an eASIC customer was able to achieve a landmark 24-hour cycle from the engineering stage of the design (RTL) to chip tape-out.”
The AO 100 companies will be honored at a VIP reception during the upcoming AO 2005: Innovation Summit at 5.00 p.m. on July 19, 2005 at the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center on the Stanford University Campus.
