Aplus and Flextronics Semiconductor Sign Licensing Agreement for Embedded EEPROM

Flextronics Semiconductor to embed Aplus' EEPROM IP into its ASIC design
SAN JOSE, Calif., July 14, 2015 -- Aplus Flash Technology, a leader in nonvolatile memory products and customized NVM IP, today announced the signing of an IP Design License Agreement with Flextronics Semiconductor, a business unit of Flextronics, the leading Electronic Manufacturing Services provider. The licensing agreement allows Flextronics and its customer to embed Aplus' high-quality, customized EEPROM IP into an ASIC for manufacture at Singapore foundry Chartered Semiconductor. The EEPROM IP provided by Aplus will enable Flextronics to incorporate data storage and security ID features into its ASIC design.
