Silicon & Software Systems (S3) announces successful integration of its DVB-H software with Philips' smartphone platform
S3's onHandTV™ is an IPDC over DVB-H software solution compliant with the emerging DVB-CBMS standard. First released in May 2005, targeting upcoming trials and commercial network launches, onHandTV™ delivers a complete solution, including Protocol Stacks, Middleware, and Applications, enabling accelerated time to market by delivering a low footprint, high performance, fully interoperable solution.

Philips will demonstrate its TV on Mobile Solution at IFA, 2 – 7 September 2005 in Berlin, Germany.
