MIPS Technologies Files Annual Report on Form 10-K
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., September 9, 2005 - MIPS Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: MIPS), today reported the filing of its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2005. The company notes that the audited financial statements included in the Annual Report reflect net income of $4.2 million for the fourth quarter and $14.9 million for fiscal 2005, which is $1.5 million or $0.03 per diluted share higher than disclosed in the company’s earnings call and press release on July 27, 2005. The company received a favorable tax ruling related to its Swiss subsidiary that resulted in a reduction to the income tax provision for the fiscal year. In addition, certain operating expense adjustments were recorded following availability of additional information subsequent to the press release date.
