Arithmatica Expands Global Sales Network to Europe to Meet Demand for Efficient Silicon Math in Consumer Electronics ICs
Ben Franklin LLC in Germany becomes Arithmatica representative
MENLO PARK, Calif. - September 13, 2005 - Arithmatica, Inc., the first company focused solely on using advances in silicon math algorithms to lower costs and power, and increase speed for math-intensive ICs, today expanded its sales network to Europe through a relationship with Ben Franklin, LLC, based out of Munich. Ben Franklin LLC brings more than 20 years of experience in software sales and business development in Europe, and represents Arithmatica in Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Russia. The company joins Arithmatica’s current sales network partners in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and the eastern U.S., that enable the company to actively market and support its products throughout North America, Europe, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
Arithmatica's proprietary cell-based CellMath™ IP and tools products, which integrate into existing design flows, improve silicon efficiency for datapath-intensive IC modules by as much as 40 percent without requiring any change in design practices.
"We are especially pleased to partner with Ben Franklin LLC to serve Europe's IC and electronic product companies that seek leading-edge design solutions," said Dave Burow, Arithmatica's chairman. "Its market development track record and local market expertise make his firm an ideal partner for Arithmatica as we continue to expand our worldwide sales network."
About CellMath
CellMath tools provide designers the ability to create datapath designs with power, performance and/or area (PPA) improvements in the range of 20-40 percent with the same or improved timing, and eliminate the verification bottleneck typical in complex datapath design. CellMath tools are compatible with all major EDA flows.
CellMath IP products improve graphics acceleration and embedded processor design to create optimized silicon results. Based on Arithmatica's proprietary architectures, they are delivered with bit accurate simulation models and formally verified gate-level netlists that are targeted using customers' standard cell libraries. Their wide range of configuration options supports millions of possible configurations.
