MindTree to Deliver a Talk on Ultrawideband Technology Solutions for High-End Multimedia Applications at WiCon Americas
MindTree will also showcase its UWB and Bluetooth technology building blocks
Santa Clara, September 30, 2005 - MindTree Consulting, a leading provider of Bluetooth Intellectual Properties (IPs) and solutions, today announced that it would deliver a talk on Ultrawideband technology at Wireless Connectivity Americas, the annual and premier event for short range wireless connectivity providers. WiCon Americas is being hosted at the Santa Clara Convention Center on the 5th and 6th of October.
The talk titled “Optimal Hardware- Firmware Partitioning of MBOA UWB MAC: A Case Study” will discuss the ensuing benefits of such partitioning in terms of lower MIPs, minimum gate count, smaller code footprint and lower memory usage.
MindTree recently launched its UWB Program aimed to create licensable cores of the MAC and digital PHY layers of the UWB wireless technology.
MindTree will also demonstrate its Bluetooth technology baseband controller and stack IPs at WiCon including latest developments and advancements related to application profiles, platform support, vertical market focus and the Bluetooth v2.0 specification.

The UltraWiz digital PHY IP may be easily integrated with WiMedia compatible Analog Front End (AFE) and RF blocks.
