The MathWorks Introduces New xPC Target Drivers for Condor Engineering Avionics Boards
NATICK, Mass. - October 12, 2005 -- The MathWorks today announced that it has developed drivers for its xPC Target rapid prototyping product to support hardware from Condor Engineering, a leading provider of military and commercial avionics databus solutions, including high-performance, high-density modules for ARINC 429 and MIL-STD-1553 applications. With the new drivers, xPC Target now supports both commercial (ARINC 429) and military (MIL-STD-1553) avionics databuses, providing aerospace engineers who use Condor avionics boards with the ability to use Model-Based Design, including xPC Target real-time testing software, for design and testing of avionics systems.
Condor Engineering offers a wide range of intelligent MIL-STD-1553 interface hardware to meet the demands of aerospace engineers. Additionally, Condor's ARINC solutions provide feature rich functionality, ease of use, and exceptional performance for embedded, test, and simulation applications. The integration of xPC Target with Condor Engineering's avionics boards enables aerospace engineers to use a high-performance, host-target prototyping and testing environment to connect Simulink® and Stateflow® models to physical systems, and to execute them in real-time using Condor avionics databus solutions.
