Magnum Semiconductor Selects Denali's Verification Software for Design of Next-Generation Digital Video Chips
PALO ALTO, Calif., October 19, 2005 -- Magnum Semiconductor Inc. of Fremont, Calif., has adopted Denali Software's MMAV™ verification intellectual property (IP) software for next-generation Digital Video chip development.
Magnum will use MMAV within its design flow for modeling and simulating the interactions between its chips and external memory devices for design, verification and performance analysis. MMAV enhances verification by enabling designers to observe and operate on system-level data transactions during simulation, which optimizes design simulation and accelerates the overall verification process.
Says Cheng-Tie Chen, vice president of engineering at Magnum: "Designing next-generation digital video ICs demands leading-edge EDA tools and IP. We selected Denali's MMAV based on the product capabilities as well as Denali's reputation for quality and reliability."
"Magnum stands apart as a leader in the digital video arena," adds Vic Juneja, Denali's product marketing manager. "By providing Magnum with memory verification software, we are helping them continue to meet their rigorous standards for quality and performance."
