Mistral Joins Xilinx Alliance Program
Bangalore -- October 25, 2005 -- Mistral Software, the product realization company specializing in real-time embedded solutions today announced its membership into the Xilinx Alliance Program. Xilinx is the worldwide leader of programmable logic solutions. The Xilinx Alliance Program includes companies who use new design methodologies that include HDL Synthesis, verification and use of highly optimized cores to quickly meet their performance and cost targets. The program is comprised of leading companies across the world that are trained to take full advantage of the features in Xilinx Platform FPGAs, software, and IP Cores.
As an alliance member, Mistral brings a wealth of detailed knowledge about specific system technologies, as well as expertise in using the latest programmable logic architectures and development tools. Mistral will now cater to the large Xilinx customer base offering them the highest quality of professional design services expertise and total solutions built on Xilinx programmable logic.
Mistral has worked extensively on Xilinx products ranging from the Virtex™ Series (Virtex-4 Platform and Virtex-II Pro FPGAs) to the Spartan™ Series (Spartan-3E FPGAs). Mistral’s engineers have developed a number of reusable IP Cores based on Xilinx FPGAs to help customers accelerate time-to-market with innovative electronic products and supported them with related design services. Mistral has executed up to 8 Million gates design, with maximum core operating frequency up to 150 MHz and maximum I/O operation at 750 MHz using Xilinx FPGAs.
