Arasan Partners with TRIAS Mikroelektronik to Address the European Market
"TRIAS Mikroelektronik GmbH specializes in providing advanced design services and products for customers in Germany and most of Europe. Founded in 1989, TRIAS understands how to leverage the dynamics governing the IP market, particularly in Europe," said Richard Timpa, vice president of Sales for Arasan Chip systems. "The company's extensive distribution network, as well as its advanced R&D capabilities, will enable Arasan Chip Systems to reach untapped potential in the region."
"The accelerated pace of the semiconductor Design is making it increasingly challenging for companies to compete," said Klaus Steinheuer, CEO of TRIAS. "Arasan Chip Systems' IP solutions are a natural fit for Europe, where getting a product to market quickly with proven core technology is the only route to success."
Arasan's commitment to quality has seen its cores go into multiple silicon in production. Arasan licensed its SDIO Device IP core to Motorola Semiconductors in France and is currently working on multiple projects in USB 2.0 and SDIO across Europe. Companies licensing Arasan's technology get the complete system, which includes the core, ARM/8051 Firmware, device drivers and debug tools. Design services and onsite support can also be provided. Arasan's ten years of experience in the IP business has given them a unique insight into customer requirements and the ability to fulfill them.
