ATI Licenses Analogix Semiconductor HDMI Receiver
Santa Clara, Calif., January 30, 2006 – Analogix Semiconductor announced today that ATI Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATYT) (TSX: ATY) has licensed Analogix’s HDMI™ receiver technology. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is the standard for transmitting digital television audiovisual signals from DVD players, set-top boxes and other audiovisual sources to television sets, projectors and other video displays.
