Perfisans Signs Another Design Win With Tanxia Systems, Inc.
Major Network Storage System Developer Selects Perfisans Gigabit Ethernet Network Adaptor for Its Product Line Offerings
LOS ANGELES, CA--Apr 18, 2006 -- Perfisans Networks Corp., a next-generation semiconductor designer focused on the burgeoning Gigabit Ethernet market, has announced the signing of yet another Supply Agreement with Tanxia Systems Inc. (TSI) for its proprietary network accelerator solution, marking the patented technology's successful progress towards real-world applications.TSI will begin to integrate the Perfisans Gigabit Ethernet Adaptor card powered by Perfisans ENA1001 semiconductor chip into several of its network storage product solutions. This is another significant recognition of PFNH's product being adopted by a high profile company who specializes in network storage solutions. TSI recently entered into a "supply agreement" with Perfisans and the "Design implementation" is now the next phase of this partnership. This agreement should lead to significant revenue potential due to TSI's strong sales channel in North America and China.
"The partnership and design win with TSI is yet another significant milestone for Perfisans in entering both the US and China network storage market. This is another major endorsement of the technology we developed," said To-Hon Lam, President and CEO of Perfisans. "TSI can offer an extremely cost-effective yet high-performance solution for their customers by integrating the Perfisans network-acceleration product line and being a US based network storage solution provider will allow Perfisans to tap into the lucrative US-based network storage solution providers and the growing US Gigabit Ethernet storage market."
Lih-Sheng Chiou, CEO of TSI, said: "We are constantly researching and developing the best solutions in order to provide the most updated cutting edge technology and cost effective solution to our customers. In this competitive environment today, the ability to provide both high-performance and high-efficiency network products are clearly the basics we need in always providing the 'best of the best' for our customers. TSI's internal tests over the past several months have shown that Perfisans' Gigabit Ethernet adaptor possessed the best results with regards to a balance of cost performance mix."
TSI is a major network storage solutions provider in the US, where it services the enterprise and SOHO network storage application market. One of the key advantages of using Perfisans' solution is that it gives the customer a seamless transition to future products which support the Internet Protocol base Storage Area Network (IP-SAN) solutions. Perfisans technology is the only product on the market that will integrate Remote DMA (RDMA), TCP/IP off-load (TOE), PCI-X and PCI-Express on a single chip. It is very important to note that, Perfisans products conform to all the highest levels of standards and protocols. These technological advances will offer the opportunity for Perfisans to be the leader in this field and as Gigabit Ethernet technology continues to be implemented into Storage Area Network Systems as well as personal computers: Perfisans hopes to be firmly entrenched as the technology of choice to both OEM's and its major brands.
