April 19, 2006 -- Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE:IMG; "Imagination") – a leader in System on Chip Intellectual Property (" SoC IP") – reports that Sunplus Technology Company Limited (TAIEX: 2401, FTSE: SUPD; "Sunplus"), a leading consumer IC design company, has extended its license agreement with Imagination for PowerVR MBX IP cores for integration into a wider range of processors as SoC solutions for consumer electronics devices.
Under the terms of its licensing arrangements Imagination receives license fees and royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination’s IP shipped by partners.
This licence agreement was concluded in March 2006 and is one of the deals identified in Imagination’s trading update on 12 April 2006.
