Impinj's AEON Nonvolatile Memory Licensed to SanDisk
“Available in the same cost-effective semiconductor processes used to manufacture SanDisk’s portable device’s control chips, Impinj’s AEON NVM will be directly integrated into SanDisk products, such as the flash memory cards which are embedded into many of today’s mobile handsets,” said Geoff Gongwer, senior director of ASIC development at SanDisk. “Impinj’s AEON NVM allows us to address on-chip NVM requirements, supporting advanced features on our most popular storage products now and in the future.”
“We are pleased that SanDisk chose Impinj’s NVM technology for its industry-leading portable storage products,” said Larry Morrell, vice president of IP Products at Impinj. “Working together, SanDisk and Impinj will deliver storage products that multiple industries demand.”
