FSA Adds Three New Directors To Its Board of Directors
Expansion Increases Global Representation and Leadership
SAN JOSE, California -- August 1, 2006 -- FSA, the voice of the global fabless business model, today announced it will add three new directors to the association’s board to broaden the group’s global reach and leadership.
The new directors appointed by the FSA board of directors include:
- Design Partner Director - Mike Fister, president and chief executive officer of Cadence Design Systems, Inc.
- Back-end Director - Oleg Khaykin, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Amkor Technology, Inc.
- Asia Pacific Leadership Council Director - Dr. Nicky Lu, president and chief executive officer of Etron Technology, Inc.
“The addition of these seats to FSA’s board of directors emphasizes both the importance of the semiconductor industry’s supply chain and the growing influence of the Asia-Pacific region,” said Jodi Shelton, FSA’s executive director. “We believe that the leadership of these three individuals will bring tremendous value to an already dynamic and powerful group of industry leaders.”
Fister joined Cadence in 2004. Prior to that, he was an Intel Corporation senior executive for 17 years, most recently in the role of senior vice president and general manager of the company’s enterprise platforms group.
Khaykin joined Amkor in 2003 and has held several executive positions. Previously, he served as a senior executive for Conexant Systems Inc./Mindspeed Technologies.
Dr. Lu serves as chairman of FSA’s APLC. He founded Etron in 1991 and previously worked in IBM’s research division. Dr. Lu holds over 24 U.S. patents.
