SoCTechnology licenses videantis v-MP2000 SD video IP
Hannover, Germany, and Schwalbach, Germany - August 08, 2006 - videantis GmbH, a leading IP provider of multi-standard video processing solutions, today announced that SoCTechnology GmbH & Co. KG has taken a license for the videantis(TM) v-MP2000 SD video processing subsystem. SoCTechnology, a well established German ASIC & SoC design house, has chosen videantis' v-MP2000 SD subsystem due to its flexibility and superior silicon efficiency.

The videantis v-MP2000 SD is the dual-core architecture out of videantis' family of scalable video subsystems. It supports all video compression standards like MPEG-4, H.264/AVC, and VC-1, as well as a wide range of value-add image enhancements, and is especially suited for simultaneous encoding and decoding applications up to standard definition resolutions.
