Algotronix announces appointment of Shanghai Wei Ling Electronic Technology Co. as distributor for China
Tom Kean, Managing Director of Algotronix commented, “Following the highly encouraging customer response to the introduction of our third generation ‘G3’ AES IP core product family at DAC we are moving forward to strengthen our presence throughout the major Asian markets. The appointment of Shanghai Wei Ling as distributor is a key step in this direction allowing us to provide the highest quality of pre- and post-sales support to our customers in China.”
William Lu, President of Shanghai Wei Ling said “The Algotronix G2 and G3 IP core products are ideally suited to the needs of customers in China providing a complete range of capability - including the more advanced modes of AES such as GCM and LRW - at a very competitive price point.”
Introduced at the 43rd DAC in San Francisco the G3 core is the third generation of Algotronix’ Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) IP. The G3 product provides class leading area and performance with a very high level of user-configurability using VHDL generic parameters to allow easy investigation of design trade offs. The complete G3 AES product line includes implementations of important related standards including KeyWrap, GCM, LRW and CCM providing solutions for the high speed optical networking, disk drive encryption and wireless networking markets.
