The MemCon San Jose event commences with a special half-day track focusing on memory and storage technology for Windows Vista�. Co-sponsored by Samsung� Semiconductor and Microsoft� Corporation, this track addresses the application of Flash and Hybrid-Hard Disk Drive technology to the Windows Vista operating system, and the resulting impact on performance and end-user experience. Presentations from ATI Technologies, Denali Software, Intel, Microsoft and Samsung are followed by a panel discussion moderated by PC Magazine editor, John Dvorak.
Day two of MemCon begins with keynote presentations from Dr. Tae-Sung Jung, senior vice president of Memory Product Planning and Applications Engineering Team for Samsung Electronics. The keynote session is followed by a full day of presentations sessions organized into two simultaneous tracks: Track A: DRAM Devices, Technologies and Roadmaps, and Track B: Flash Devices, Technology and Roadmaps.
The final day of MemCon begins with a keynote presentation from Darin Billerbeck, vice president, Flash Memory Group, and General Manager, Flash Products Group for Intel Corporation. This keynote session is followed by a full day of presentations sessions organized into two simultaneous tracks: Track A: SoC Deployment for Memory and Storage Systems, Track B: PCI Express Technology.
