Arasan launches Worlds First Unified Storage Card Controller IP Core.
Arasans SD/MMC 4.0 Card Controller has been licensed by several companies and is Silicon Proven. To compliment this product, we offer the NAND Flash Controller IP Core & IDE interfaces. Arasan also does customization services for customers targeting specific types of memories, performance and needs.
Arasan also offers the Unified Host Controller IP which supports SD, SDIO, MMC 4.0 and CE-ATA. Licensees of this IP include companies like Intel, Broadcom, Agere Systems etc. The IPs can also be licensed separately in the form of a SD core and SD / MMC 4.0 Core targeting the flash market and the CE-ATA Core targeting the portable HDD market.
Arasan is an Executive Member of the SD Association, Multimedia Card Association and the CE-ATA Workgroup.
