MemCore, Inc Joins UMC Alliance Partner Program
Santa Clara, California, Sept 26, 2006 – MemCore, Inc., the first and only pure-play Memory Interface Solutions company announced today that it has joined the UMC Alliance partner program as a Gold IP Partner. Under this program all MemCore memory interface solutions are immediately available to UMC customers.

MemCore’s IP, silicon proven in UMC processes, include the MC4001 DDR1/DDR2 Memory Controller, the MC4003 MobileSDR/DDR, the MP4010 DDR SRDAM PHY, and the MD4020 Digital DLL.
The MC4001 DDR1/DDR2 Intelligent Memory Interface is a high-performance and low-latency memory controller for DDR1/DDR2-based systems. The MC4001 utilizes an innovative scheduling algorithm that delivers the highest system bandwidth in the industry.
TheMC4003 MobileSDR/MobileDDR Intelligent Memory Interface is a low-power high system performance memory controller for MobileDDR-based systems. The MC4003 utilizes an innovative scheduling algorithm that delivers the highest system bandwidth, with the lowest power consumption, in the industry.
The MP4010 DDR2 SDRAM PHY is a companion to any of the MemCore Intelligent Memory Interfaces. A full digital implementation the MP4010 delivers the high precision required for high-performance DDR2 based designs.
The MD4020 Delay Locked Loop (DLL) is a full digital implementation, with the highest precision and lowest foot-print in the industry. The MD4020 works with any of the other MemCore Controller or PHY devices or as a stand alone device.
