VaST Systems Names Jeff Roane as Vice President of Marketing
SUNNYVALE, Calif.-- October 12, 2006 --VaST Systems — the technology leader in embedded design — today announced the promotion of Jeff Roane to the position of vice president of marketing and business development reporting to VaST’s CEO, Alain Labat.
Roane joined VaST from ProphICy Semiconductor, where he was founder and CEO. Prior to ProphICy, Roane was vice president of marketing for SP&R at Cadence Design Systems. Roane, who holds a BSEE from the University of Akron, began his career at Texas Instruments. He has significant managerial experience at both startups and established semiconductor and design automation companies.
