Silicon Hive Announces Partnership With AllGo Embedded Systems Pvt. Ltd.
Bangalore India -- Jan 10, 2007 -- Silicon Hive and AllGo Embedded Systems Pvt. Ltd jointly announced today that the two companies have entered into a partnership. The two companies signed a joint development agreement last quarter. Together they are developing a Video Signal Processing demonstration system. AllGo Embedded Systems is working on the embedded software, and Silicon Hive is providing the hardware components. The partnership between the companies took off quickly due in part to Silicon Hive’s new office in Bangalore.
K. Srinivasan, CEO of AllGo Embedded Systems, said, “We plan to provide compelling solutions for high performance video applications by combining the video signal processing expertise from AllGo and the HiveFlex processors from Silicon Hive. Our algorithmic IP can exploit the parallelism of the HiveFlex VSP cores to the maximum, allowing us to develop fully programmable video solutions that do not exist today”.
Also commenting, Dr. Ramanathan Sethuraman, Director of Silicon Hive’s Bangalore Operations, said, “HiveFlex processors from Silicon Hive, namely HiveFlex VSP2100 series, uniquely address the high performance needs of video applications. The data level parallelism (DLP), instruction level parallelism (ILP) and task level parallelism (TLP) allows our partner to exploit parallelism to build optimal solutions. AllGo with its expertise in embedded software engineering is developing advanced video applications on our HiveFlex processors.”
