Silicon Hive Opens Offices in Bangalore India
Bangalore India – Jan 9, 2007 -- Silicon Hive announced today that the company has opened an office in Bangalore India. The purpose of the office is threefold: forge and support new systems and applications software partnerships in India for HiveFlex product lines; service local offices of multi-national customers operating in and near India; and to serve as a growing engineering development center. The office is run by Dr. Ramanathan Sethuraman, Director of Bangalore Operations .
The new office in Bangalore is the second in a series of planned offices around the world, after a recently opened office in Milpitas, California. Silicon Hive engages partners worldwide in the areas of communications signal processing, image signal processing and video signal processing for its HiveFlex family of application specific processors. The vibrant entrepreneurial environment in Bangalore offers numerous opportunities for potential partnerships with Indian companies possessing significant applications and systems knowledge across the domains that HiveFlex serves.
Dr. Sethuraman, Director of Silicon Hive’s Bangalore Operations said, “We are excited with the prospect offered by the rapidly growing semiconductor and embedded application software industry in India. Silicon Hive is participating in the 20th VLSI Design Conference and Exhibition in Bangalore India January 6 – 10 2007 at the Nimhans Convention Center.
