Artisan Components' Industry-Standard 0.10-Micron Design Platform Now Available For Free Download
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 2001-- Artisan Components, Inc., (Nasdaq: ARTI - news), a leading provider of semiconductor intellectual property (IP), today announced that IC designers can download, free of charge, its next generation libraries for jumpstarting 0.10-micron designs. First to distribute 0.10-micron design kits, Artisan offers IC designers a broad and fully integrated solution that includes its industry-standard memory generators, standard cell and I/O libraries. Compatibility with Artisan's previous product generations enables users to quickly port their Artisan-based designs to the latest 0.10-micron process technologies.
The early access 0.10-micron library products are based on industry-standard, mainstream 0.10-micron design rules and models. The products conform to Artisan's widely adopted functional and modeling specifications and are fully integrated with leading design tools.
"Artisan's 0.10-micron design platform provides tight integration between the memory generators, standard cell and I/O libraries," said Neal Carney, vice president of marketing at Artisan Components. "Our products share a standard characterization, modeling and delivery style and pass through a rigorous QA and silicon qualification procedure. The result is a reliable and easy-to-use design platform that substantially reduces the design iterations necessary for chip-level timing closure and final design sign-off."
Product Availability
Artisan's early access 0.10-micron products include the SAGE-X Standard Cell Library, the Single-Port Synchronous SRAM Generator and General Purpose I/O Library. The Dual-Port Synchronous SRAM Generator and the Single- and Two-Port Register file generators will be available in January 2002. The products are available free of charge and can be downloaded from Artisan's web site at www.artisan.com beginning December 17, 2001.
