MOSAID Names New Chief Financial Officer
OTTAWA, Ontario – April 30, 2007 - MOSAID Technologies Inc. (TSX:MSD), a leading intellectual property development and licensing company, today strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Joseph R. Brown to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Brown succeeds Richard D. Boadway, who served as MOSAID's CFO since 1997.

Since joining the Company in 1988, Mr. Brown has held increasingly senior roles in MOSAID's finance group, most recently as Vice President, Finance. In his new role as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Brown will be responsible for managing the Company's financial strategy and operations, including reporting requirements and treasury functions. Prior to joining MOSAID, Mr. Brown was with Price Waterhouse chartered accountants. Mr. Brown is a Certified General Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University.
