Atlanta, GA, and Santa Clara, CA – May 4, 2007 – Commetrex Corporation, a leading provider of HMP (host media processing) media servers and networking products for converged networks, and Tensilica, a leader and major innovator in configurable processor technology, today announced that Commetrex’ fax technologies now support Tensilica’s Xtensa configurable and Diamond Standard processor cores. This proven solution, already shipping in high volume, will give Tensilica’s customers a complete, off-the-shelf solution for products requiring built-in fax capabilities.
