Imagination Technologies Licences Multimedia IP Cores To An International Electronics Systems Company
July 09, 2007 -- Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE:IMG; "Imagination") - a leader in System-on-Chip Intellectual Property ("SoC IP") - reports that it has licensed next generation graphics and video IP cores to an international electronics systems company under a multi-use licensing agreement.
The SoCs to be developed under this license agreement will be produced for this new partner by Imagination’s existing semiconductor partners and/or new chip manufacturing partners.
Under the terms of the above licensing arrangement, Imagination will receive licence fees and royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination’s IP.
