Meylan, France -- July 18, 2007 -- Dolphin Integration is up to their charter as the most adaptive creator in Microelectronics to "Enable mixed signal Systems-on-Chip", with a quality management enabling reactivity for innovation.
Their current mission is to supply worldwide customers with fault-free, high-yield and reliable sets of CMOS Virtual Components, resilient to noise and drastic for low power-consumption, together with engineering assistance and product evolution customized to their needs.
Dolphin integration announces the availability of their new high-resolution measurement ADC, to be embedded into SoCs for low frequency Sensor applications and Mems.
SensADC-16.02 covers optimally the needs of measurement applications with stringent requirements in terms of noise management: blood pressure sensors or weight scales for medical markets, as well as all kind of high-resolution wireless sensors.
This ADC benefits from Dolphin's long-lasting experience in data acquisition chains for sensors: avionics and seismic sensors. Its unique Programmable Gain Amplifier is issued directly from this expertise. SensADC is the second generation of the celebrated Sensor ADC on board the Airbus A-380, and enables to perform a high gain amplification while keeping the highest resolution performance.
The product development strategy includes a wide choice of peripherals to customize sensADC-16 for application specifics. Power management companions can be configured with sensADC to ensure the best noise-free resolution, and direct battery connection supporting 2.2 V to 5.5 V as operation voltage. Straightforward calibration of ADC and system are made easy thanks to the on-chip circuitry and internal registers for zero and full scale calibration.
