Mobilygen Appoints Anoop Khurana as New VP Engineering
Santa Clara, CA -- August 30, 2007 – Mobilygen, a leader in highdefinition H.264 video codec ICs, has appointed Anoop Khurana as Vice President of Engineering. His responsibilities include overseeing the company’s team of 50 engineers and working with Mobilygen’s CTO, Sorin Cismas and Chief Scientist, Guy Cote to deliver industry leading H.264 video compression products and a strong intellectual property roadmap.
Anoop brings 22 years of semi-conductor and software product development expertise to managing the entire life cycle of semiconductor products, from design to volume production. Mr. Khurana has previously held executive management positions at Ikanos Communications and at S3 Inc. and has product development experience in wired communications, 3D graphics, and video domains.

Prior to joining Mobilygen, Mr. Khurana was at Ikanos Communications where he built and led an engineering team that developed four generations of VDSL and mixed signal chip sets. Ikanos Communications did a successful IPO in 2005. In addition to technology, Mr. Khurana fundraises and volunteers for Ruchika (www.ruchika.org), a non-profit organization in India dedicated to bringing education to street children. He has a BE from the University of Roorkee, India and an MSEE from the University of Florida, Gainsville.
