videantis appoints Young-Hun Kluge VP Sales and Marketing

Hannover, Germany - October 1, 2007 - videantis GmbH, a leading provider of video engines, today announced the appointment of Young-Hun Kluge as Vice President Sales and Marketing. In this position, Mr. Kluge's responsibilities include sales and marketing initiatives and the expansion of the global sales structure to continuously increase videantis' worldwide market position in the segments of mobile and home multimedia.

Mr. Kluge has more than 13 years IP business experience and joins videantis from Silicon Image, where he held the position of a Director in Sales and Marketing for IP business. His position was transformed from a three years VP Sales and Marketing position through the acquisition of sci-worx by Silicon Image in January this year. In these positions, he highly increased market penetration, especially in Asia and developed very successful product portfolio partnerships. Prior to these responsibilities, Mr. Kluge held positions in key account management, marketing, and engineering at sci-worx/SICAN. Mr. Kluge holds an MS in microelectronics from the University of Hannover.
