Kaben Wireless Silicon partners with Jazz Semiconductor; Qualifies as Silicon-proven RF IP provider
The Application-Specific IP Providers program from JAZZ is intended to help its foundry customers speed time to market, reduce development risk, lower development costs, and improve return on investment by qualifying semiconductor IP providers and design partners that have pre-tested and validated their methodologies for compatibility with Jazz Semiconductor.
“Customer validation of our high performance frequency synthesizer and related IP in JAZZ process technology provides a proof of quality and reliability of our products. Accessing these ready-to-use IP solutions in JAZZ processes can help customers reduce their development costs and time to market for their new products,” said Tom Riley, President, Kaben Wireless Silicon.
Formalizing an IP partnership with Jazz Semiconductor will facilitate Jazz's foundry customers access to KABEN's highly specialized IP and expertise in frequency synthesizers, advanced filtering, RF and mixed-signal designs.
