Imagination Technologies Licenses POWERVR IP Cores to SigmaTel
November 2, 2007 -- Imagination Technologies Group plc – a leader in System-on-Chip Intellectual Property ("SoC IP") – reports that SigmaTel, Inc., a leading fabless semiconductor company, has licensed a number of POWERVR IP Cores from Imagination for use in its future generation of application processors.
Under the terms of its licensing arrangements Imagination receives license fees and royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination’s IP shipped by partners.
