Arasan Chip Systems PCI Express Gen2 Solution Named to PCI-SIG Integrators List

New Flexible PCIe IP Core and Development Platform Passes Rigorous Interoperability and Compliance Testing

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- June 5, 2008 -- Arasan Chip Systems, Inc., ``Arasan'' a leader in Intellectual Property (IP) solutions -- IP cores, Verification IP (VIP), Software Drivers and Stacks and Hardware Solutions, today announced that the PCI-SIG, the Special Interest Group responsible for the PCI industry standard, has added Arasan Chip Systems' PCIe solution to the PCI-SIG Integrators List. At the recent Compliance Workshop, the Arasan PCIe Endpoint IP Core and Development Platform passed the rigorous interoperability and compliance tests to achieve a place on the Integrators List.

Arasan's highly configurable PCIe IP core is fully compliant with PCIe specifications 1.1 and 2.0 and architected to support x1, x2, x4 lane configurations, expandable to x8 or x16. Designed to support a suite of features and functions, the host interface can be customized from a simple FIFO interface to an AHB/AXI master/slave interface for transparent bridging, allowing optimal flexibility.

The PCI-SIG Integrators List includes all products that have successfully completed the rigorous testing procedures of the Compliance Workshop. To be placed on the list, products must undergo a significant set of compliance tests, pass a detailed ``Compliance Checklist'' as well as complete interoperability testing with other vendor's systems. PCI-SIG is currently working on PCI Express Base 3.0 draft.
