FPGA Architecture Patent Granted to O2Micro
August 26, 2008 -- O2Micro® International Limited, a leading supplier of innovative power management and security components and systems, was issued 21 claims under United States patent number 7,391,237 for its Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Architecture Upgrade.
O2Micro's firewall product, SifoWorks®, is built with this patented FPGA IC. System functions housed on this IC can be dynamically upgraded whenever customers require new features.
