Anoto Group AB's subsidiary, Logipard, signs another contract for video technology
December 12, 2008 -- Anoto’s subsidiary for video technology and ASIC development, Logipard, has signed a new contract with a global manufacturer of mobile phone platforms.
The contract concerns development of IP blocks for mobile phones and is estimated to generate NRE revenues of approximately 7 MSEK during 2009, as well as future royalty. The royalty payments are estimated to start late 2010.
Anoto's ASIC (Argus) is used in camera products, and Anoto's Multistandard video codec IP blocks have been used previously in a number of mobile phone platforms.
