SPIRIT's Audio Software Now Available on Freescale's Quad Core DSP chips
With SPIRIT's software inside, Freescale plans to supply its chips to developers and manufacturers of advanced infrastructure equipment, such as media servers, VoIP gateways, residential gateways, etc. SPIRIT Audio Engine will run on Freescale SC3400 StarCore based DSPs, such as the high-performance multicore MSC8144.
