HelloSoft Announces WiMAX/WiFi Handset Based on Its HS100 IP Convergence Processor
The reference design includes the complete Linux BSP and optional support for several operating systems including Android and a comprehensive set of drivers supporting a wide range of peripherals such as USB, SDIO, I2S, I2C, LCD, Keypad, etc. The phone currently runs a demonstration GUI application and provides user-friendly interfaces for phone-book, contact-list, call-history, 3-way calling, etc and supports advanced features such as wideband and ultra-wideband speech, full hardware security for IPSec/VPN and/or SRTP and optional support for music and video playback. The highly-integrated platform with 360MHz ARM provides ample MIPS for many value added applications.
