IHP selects SMASH for natural mixed signal design
Hans Gustat, project leader at IHP, declared: “We are excited to enhance our design flow thanks to the capabilities of SMASH. The high-speed and mixed-signal designs of IHP require innovative approaches for efficient design and validation which are also affordable for SME partners. The truly mixed-language and seamlessly multi-level features of SMASH allow blending easily block descriptions in different design languages, thereby enabling new simulation approaches. The innovations pushed by Dolphin Integration and their attention to customers’ expectations were key factors in our selection.”
Gilles Depeyrot, MEDAL Business Manager, also commented that: “We are delighted by the extension of the use of SMASH at IHP. Partnering with skilled and demanding users enables us to provide high-quality front-end design solutions, addressing the needs of innovative designers. Furthermore, as IHP targets to make microelectronics more accessible for SMEs, as well as for customers needing low fabrication volumes, providing the simulation solution of their Design Kit set-up as well as partnering with their new users, is really exciting.”
