“We are excited about all the new possibilities that the 1.4 version of the HDMI specification will bring to our Adopters,” says Steve Venuti, President of HDMI Licensing, LLC. “With the addition of Ethernet and an Audio Return Channel, as well our new smaller Micro Connector, HDMI now offers more functionality to more types of devices than ever before.”
RedMere is currently working with its global customer base to bring 1.4 compatible cables to the market which are fully compliant with the features of the 1.4 specification and which use its self-powered MagnifEye Active chipset.
