Cosmic Circuits Appoints Senior Executive Jose-Maria Moniz to boost Global Business

Targets rapid world-wide growth by leveraging its broad base of proven silicon-IP portfolioBangalore, INDIA and Campbell, California -- Aug 4th 2009 -- Cosmic Circuits, a leading provider of differentiated analog and mixed-signal silicon intellectual property cores, today announced that a seasoned senior executive, Jose-Maria Moniz, has joined the company as Vice-President Worldwide Sales. This appointment is an important step in the company's growth plan and leverages Moniz's extensive experience in the industry.
Based in Campbell, California in the heart of Silicon Valley, Moniz reports directly to Cosmic Circuits’ CEO Ganapathy Subramaniam. Moniz's responsibility will be to direct and strengthen Cosmic Circuits' worldwide business growth into major markets and new analog and mixed-signal IP areas.
"Cosmic Circuits has grown strongly in the last few years, both in terms of portfolio and of customer base across all regions. Moniz brings more than 16 years of experience in the technology industry to Cosmic, including nine years of experience as a senior manager. Prior to joining Cosmic, Moniz has served as Vice-President Analog Business, Vice President Sales North America and Vice-President Customer Service for Chipidea, latter MIPS, since 2004. He has contributed to Chipidea’s success while serving in worldwide sales, marketing, customer service, business development and organizational roles. Before that, he was CEO and board member of TECMIC, where he fostered growth before the company was acquired. At Bevmercator.com, he was the founder and CEO of an international e-portal before the company was sold.
